New ORANGE Challenge Card!

Well, it's October and the challenge called for orange over at Copic Creations' challenge blog so what could one do besides a Halloween card? I tested out my newly won C.C. Designs Honey Witch digital stamp hand colored with my growing collection of Copics and applied her to a 5-1/2" card cut from the Cricut Wild Card cartridge along with coordinating layers of circles in black & orange. My recipe for witchy gal's complexion is to use a rim of G20 & lightly w/G99 around the head and fill in & blend with E50. Her blush and lips color are shaded with V00 & V06. I like the outcome!

Love the 5/8" orange & black grosgrain ribbon & bow, for fun I colored the thread on the orange Button-Up black with a Copic for the occasion.
On the inside I added a stamped tag and a creepy spider from the Cricut Paper Dolls cartridge. This was a fun little card to make with the double-sided vintage K & Co. DP. It's perfect for one of my sweet little grandgals!

All That Scraps & Flutter By Wednesday Challenges

This sweet little pumpkin fairy is a digital stamp by CC Designs from ATS. I used by graphics program to resize the image and add a sentiment for my granddaughter. My thought is I'll send her $5. so she can go with Mommy & Daddy to buy her own Halloween pumpkin but then again, maybe grandma will get to take her since a new baby brother or sister will be joining the family about 2 weeks before Halloween!!!

For this card I: colored the image with copic markers and highlighted it with a Sakura white med. pt. marker. The wings were "bling-ed" with diamond Stickles and the sentiment was embossed with a clear gel pen. I antiqued the edges of the card which I drew a border box around in my graphics programs and layers on a square of yellow distressed cardstock. The Flutter By challenge was: 3 buttons, 2 papers, & sparkle...I think this fills all the requirements. I added a few orange & yellow silk flowers, papers, & some dotted ribbon from my old stash to complete the card.
I added my first blog blinkie earned for one of my cards! It was bestowed on me from Flutter By for my fun little birthday Butterfly Tilda...I'm very thrilled and thankful to FBW.

Both of the above challenges end today! Winners & new challenges are announced on Wednesdays each week.

All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge

All That Scraps Weds. Challenge
#40 Color Challenge:
Chocolate, Aqua, & Khaki

Love this color combo!

It made me think of coffee
for some reason.

Meet Coffee Kiki LaRue by CC Designs...she is a digital download I printed on Bristol cardstock and colored with a mix of Copics & watercolor pencils. The base card is khaki cardstock by Bazzill with layers of paper on top from the SEI Dill Blossom collection. A few brown Prima Sprite Flowers, with brown crystal centers, and a couple inches of Bo Bunny Double Dot Decaf Ribbon finish things. This will make a great little gift with a decorated kraft bag full of gourmet coffee beans!

This is a 5.5" x 5.5" card I made for two Magnolia challenges using a template provided by the Just Magnolia Challenge blog. This is Tilda in her swimsuit sitting on a dock stamp I disassembled and reglued by Art Impressions, a sentiment stamp from C.C. Designs, and my own hand drawn and original fish. I colored the images with Copics, and pop-dotted Tilda, the fish, & sentiment. Her little wings have a touch of Diamond Stickles for some shimmer. I used all Bo Bunny papers, ribbons, & brads and Prima flowers.

Theme at the 2nd challenge blog is "travel". Check it out at the Magnolia Stamp Lovers blog. Wish me luck!
